Dust-contained sanding, stain matching and a finish schedule chosen for how the room is actually used. Cheaper than replacing, and on most floors it can be done two or three times over a lifetime.

Stairs are the hardest thing in the house to get right and the first thing a guest touches. We rebuild carpeted stairs into hardwood, match treads to the floor, and cut every riser to the actual opening.

Open-riser and floating stairs where every tread is a piece of furniture. Solid oak treads cut to the opening, set level to the millimetre, and finished to match the floor they land on.

Porcelain, ceramic and large-format stone. Waterproofing done properly behind showers, layouts drawn so the cuts land where nobody looks, and grout lines that hold a straight edge across the room.

Wet-room waterproofing, large-format stone, floating vanities and backlit mirrors. We take the room down to studs and hand it back finished, with the plumbing and tile coordinated by the same crew.

Walls, ceilings and trim prepared properly before a drop of paint goes on — patched, sanded, caulked and masked. The finish coat is the easy part; everything before it is what you are paying for.

We are not tied to one supplier. If you already picked a product, we will install it — and tell you honestly whether it suits the room.
We come to the house, measure every room, look under the existing floor and check the subfloor for moisture and flatness. No charge, no obligation.
We bring the samples to you and lay them in the room they are going into, so you choose against your own walls and your own light instead of a showroom lamp.
Levelling compound, moisture readings, acclimation and dust containment. This is the stage most companies skip and the stage that decides whether a floor lasts.
